Here's What's on the Menu for the 50th Reunion

Several reunion committee members took time out of their days to sit down with the Broadmoor kitchen staff and sample possible menu items. The choices were made, and it looks like no one will go home hungry. Here are Barb Eden's notes on the tasting:

1.     Broadmoor served up a delectable sampling of menu items thanks to Woo Brower (food & beverage director) and staff at Broadmoor
Group decided on the following menu: (descriptive names, not the formal menu names)
·        Hors d'oeuvres – crab pockets, filo spinach & cheese, caprese skewers, fruit/veggie trays
·        Salmon & chicken with capers with mashed garlic potatoes & green beans, bread, rolls
·        Caesar salad
·        Cash bars with full liquor offering, including wine & beer

Our reunion will have sole access to the entire clubhouse; main dining area with band, as well as 4 separate entertainment rooms (one is a bar, and a room off the main dining will have buffets & an additional bar.)
The club's outdoor patio will also be available to reunion attendees.

Hold This Date for Your 50th Reunion!

Hold This Date!

Who'da thought back in 1969 that we'd be looking forward to a class reunion 50 years later? None of us, that's who. We weren't concerned with what might be happening in our world/country/lives in 2019. No-we were paying attention to the flares in our jeans, the length of our "freak flags," the opposite sex, and some to a star-studded music festival to take place somewhere in New York during our summer break. But as it is wont to do, time has marched on relentlessly, leaving in its wake a lot of stiff joints and diminished mental capacities.

But though many of our memories are not as vivid as they once were, I suspect we can all remember how to party when the need arises. And for a 50th NCHS class reunion, there needs to be a party. And you need to be there. Check out the flyer below and mark your calendars. We all look forward to seeing you one more time.
